LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS:
Accommodations for the APA Division 45 Conference participants are available at the facilities listed below. Please contact the facility of your choice to make a reservation. To receive the special hotel rates quoted below, indicate the group number, if listed or APA Division 45. Rates are guaranteed until May 17, 2010 or until the room block is full, so book early.

Remember that you will be charged a 6% sales tax in Michigan.

KENSINGTON COURT
The Kensington Court is located at South State Street and Interstate 94 in the Briarwood Shopping Mall circle, only 2.5 miles from downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan, and 25 miles from Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

CAMBRIDGE HOUSE/Student Residence Hall

The residence hall is located two blocks south west from the conference, on the UM campus. A student residence hall style building that is connected to the Michigan Union on the central campus of the University of Michigan. The rooms are air-cooled and provide private baths, bed linens, towels, blanket and pillow.

*Double: $64.00/night
*If double, the room will be billed to one guest.

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call 734.764.5297 within 48 hours of your scheduled date of arrival or you will be charged for one night's stay on your credit card. The administrative fee will be withheld for processing purposes on all cancellations.

A parking permit for a designated lot on campus will be available for purchase at the Community Center at the residence hall. Street parking meters cost $1.25/hour between 8 am and 6 pm, otherwise they are free. But please be advised that street parking meters are scarce and parking enforcement is very strict - the fine is $10 to $15 for an expired parking meter. After several tickets you risk the inconvenience and the expense of several hundred dollars if your car is towed.

PLEASE NOTE: Housing does not assign roommates; if requesting a double room, you must be prepared to give them the names of both guests upon making the reservation. The room will be billed to one guest.

STOCKWELL RESIDENCE HALL/Student Residence Hall
Stockwell Residence Hall is located approximately four blocks from the conference venue, on the UM campus. Stockwell, which opened in 1940, has been completely upgraded to include air-conditioning, wired and wireless high-speed network access, new fire detection and suppression systems, renovated bath facilities, new elevators, improvements to enable greater accessibility, and new plumbing, heating and ventilation. Housekeeping services are provided Monday-Saturday. Linens are changed twice weekly, and fresh towels are provided daily. Shared, but separate men and women bath facilities are located on all floors.

There are other hotels within a three to five mile radius of the conference; however it is the participant’s responsibility to arrange for travel to and from where the conference will be held.
